The Sulawesi uses structured panelling and a secure, snug cut that grips your body without digging in. Engineered to move with you through waves, dives, and bodysurf sessions.
The long-sleeve design and darker colourways offer maximum UPF 50+ block-out. Spend all day in the water without worrying about UV damage to your arms, shoulders, and chest.
ECONYL® is regenerated nylon made from ocean waste like discarded fishing nets. Buttery-soft, lasts twice as long as regular swimwear, and fully recyclable at end of life.
Every Sulawesi is handmade in our Canggu studio by skilled local makers with fair pay and safe conditions. Small-batch production means higher quality on every single piece.

Ocean Soul was founded in Canggu, Bali - where we live in the ocean. We spent years frustrated with swimwear that looked good in the shop but failed the moment we paddled out. The Sulawesi is the swimsuit we couldn't find, so we made it ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Designed as a firm, sculpting fit - like shapewear for the ocean. If you prefer a more relaxed feel, size up one. Buying Midnight? Size up two as the dark dye makes the fabric slightly less stretchy.
Midnight (black) provides the most UPF block-out. All colourways are UPF 50+ rated. Apply SPF to the side mesh panels for complete coverage.
Hand wash separately in cool water after each wear. Rinse thoroughly after chlorine or salt water. Lay flat to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight, tumble drying, and wringing.
Exchanges or returns for store credit on full-price items within 30 days of dispatch. Sale items cannot be refunded. 12-month warranty on manufacturing defects.
